In the main processing industries, the application of the metal processing industry is very wide, and the leakage failure of the oil press is usually referred to as the leakage of the oil press beyond the allowable range. Leakage is a common problem in hydraulic presses. It is almost impossible to make the hydraulic equipment completely leak-free. This is because in the hydraulic press and hydraulic components, due to the processing error and the relative movement of the matching surface, there will always be a certain gap, and the oil will leak when it flows through these gaps. There are two forms of leakage: first, the oil leakage from the high pressure area to the low pressure area is the internal leakage; The second is the leakage of oil inside the oil press to the outside of the oil press for external leakage.


Leakage will reduce the efficiency of the hydraulic press and pollute the environment; The loss of internal leakage is converted into thermal energy, which makes the oil temperature of the system rise, and affects the performance of hydraulic components and the normal operation of the hydraulic system. External leakage may also cause fire.


Due to the serious damage of leakage, the treatment of leakage is an important work in the use of hydraulic equipment, and measures are often taken in the following aspects.


① Gap leakage is the main form of leakage of hydraulic press, the leakage amount and the pressure difference between the two ends of the gap, the liquid viscosity, the length of the gap. The width and height are equivalent, especially the height of the gap has a serious impact on the leakage, and the leakage is proportional to the third square of the height of the gap, so in the design and manufacture of hydraulic components, under the conditions of the structure and process, the height of the gap should be minimized.


② Because the surface roughness of the hydraulic parts makes it impossible for the two joint surfaces to contact each point, so the microscopic depression that contacts the upper and lower surfaces forms many pores with diverse cross-section shapes and sizes, so the oil leaks through these pores under the action of the pressure difference. For this reason, the various cover plates, flange joints, plate links and other joint surfaces of the hydraulic components. Be sure to ensure reasonable surface roughness; And in the assembly, the fastening force is large enough to ensure that the screw is screwed firmly to prevent the joint surface from tilting.
